Creating a Task Template

Sometimes you have a special task that will be used frequently. The Task Template feature in Job-Dox allows you to store such tasks in your database for reuse later.


To get started with Task Templates, click the App Drawer icon.



Then Click the Settings option.



NOTE: If you do not see the "Settings" option listed under the app menu it is possible you do not have the required permissions to view it. Talk to your account manager in order to gain access or to request a new Task Template is created for you.

Click the "Tasks" button inside Settings.

Under the bold text "Task Templates" click the "Add New" button.


In resulting form type in a name for your new template for easy identification and the text you want to store in the database for future use. When you are finished, click save. 



NOTE: If you would like to modify an existing template, simply click it. This will open the template editor. When finished, click "Update".

The newly created template will show in the table list containing the other available templates.
