Deleting or Closing Jobs

Description:

When you "close" a job, there are several different statuses you can leave the job in that affect things in different ways. We'll detail them here.

Job Not Sold:

On an active Job, start by opening the job from the Dashboard or Advanced Search. Clicking on the white pencil in the gray address box will open the job->edit modal. At the top of that modal, you can click on "Job Not Sold". If you are on a mobile device, you may need to click on the hamburger menu to see your options.

Marking a job as "Not Sold" will stop that job from showing up on the main dashboard, but it can still be found by searching for archived jobs, or by using "Advanced Search". The main change here, is that these jobs will count against your conversion ratio in "Advanced Search". This moves the job to an Archived status.

Closed:

On an active Job, start by opening the job from the Dashboard or Advanced Search. Clicking on the white pencil in the gray address box will open the job->edit modal. At the top of that modal, you can click on "Closed". If you are on a mobile device, you may need to click on the hamburger menu to see your options.

Delete:

On an archived Job, start by opening the job from the Dashboard using "Archived Search" or Advanced Search. Clicking on the white pencil in the gray address box will open the job->edit modal. At the top of that modal, you can click on "Delete". If you are on a mobile device, you may need to click on the hamburger menu to see your options. You will be asked to confirm that you want to delete this job, and there is no undue.

"Deleting" a job will stop that job from showing up in any of the search tools, and it won't count for or against your ratios.
