Adding Bookmarks for Chrome v.42 and Newer

With these versions of Chrome, adding a bookmark is a very simple process. However, it can often times be even easier to keep track of a web page without even adding a bookmark, by adding an icon to your home screen.

Log in to Job-Dox using the username and password provided by your administrator. Once you are looking at the dashboard, with your projects listed on the screen, you are ready to get started. Do not bookmark the login screen, as your bookmark will cause you to have to log into Job-Dox again each time you want to use it.

Click on the 3-dots icon in the top right corner, as show below.

Chrome Menu

In the new menu that pops up, you can click on the Star icon near the top, which should turn yellow.

This creates a bookmark for you. Alternatively, you can can add an icon directly to your home screen for Job-Dox in that same menu. Just open the menu again, and click on "Add to Home screen." You will be prompted to name your icon, probably with a default of 'Dashboard.' Change that to Job-Dox, or something equally descriptive, and then click "Ok".

Your new icon should appear momentarily, on your home screen. If you have multiple home screens, your mobile device will place the icon wherever it seems best to it. You may need to move your screen around to find the new icon.
