Linking your Matterport account to Job-Dox


Linking your Matterport account to Job-Dox is not complicated, but it might take a few days. The first step is making sure your account in enabled on Matterport's beta API program. This is a simple process where you just need to send an email to asking to be part of the program. Once they enable that access, then the steps below can be followed. We encourage opening the Matterport Cloud in a separate tab so you can go back and forth before proceeding.


Getting Job-Dox Ready:

1. Open the Advanced tools button, and go to "Settings".

2. On the left menu, click on "Integrations".

3. Find "Matterport" and click "Enable" if needed.

4. Click on "Settings" to open the tools where you tell us how to connect to Matterport.

On the Matterport Side:

1. Open the Matterport cloud (

2. Click on your name in the top-right corner, then click on "Settings".

3. On the left menu, click on "Manage".

4. A new section is available here, "API Token Management".

5. Click on "Request", then "Confirm".

The next screen has information on it that will never be displayed again. You must be prepared to save that data.

6. The token secret will be lost as soon as you close this window. Copy/Paste that secret directly into the "Token Secret" field within Job-Dox settings, or some other document where you won't lose it. Once it's saved in Job-Dox, you shouldn't need that Secret again.

7. Copy/Paste the "Token ID" into Job-Dox as well.

Back in Job-Dox:

5. With the two pieces of information in there, make sure you check the box for "Enabled", then click "Save". Job-Dox will check that the Token information is correct, and update the status to let you know the status.
